The reporter learned on September 18 from Lanzhou tourism bureau that incentives about keeping tourists in Lanzhou was issued with validity period of 5 years. The incentives aims at encouraging tourism enterprises, both domestic and abroad, to attract more travelers to stay longer.

It provides that travel service which brings over 200 tourists to Lanzhou by a charted plane will be awarded 30 thousand yuan for each flight; 10%-20% extra reward on condition that travelers stay at star hotels. Meanwhile incentive items are made for other transportation means as special trains, organized tour, and for local agency services.

The incentives also provides respective reward amount for new-assessed star hotels (3-5 stars). Hotels newly evaluated as 5 stars will be awarded 0.5 million yuan.
