The small county of Subei, Gansu Province was blanketed in snow on December 15. Roadside trees are decorated with crystal-clear rimes. Not far from the downtown area, the Dangchengwan Temple and the Hundred Mu Woods, with their unique snow scenery, have attracted many citizens to play and shoot photos. A strong cold spell brought a snowfall of 4.4 millimeters to many parts of Subei county on December 12 and 13. Snow accumulated on the ground reached 6 centimeters and the temperature dropped to minus 22 degrees centigrade.
