The city of Lanzhou will take actions to wholly preserve three ancient villages, namely, the Chenghe, Liancheng and Hekou Villages, according to a related plan issued by the Lanzhou Municipal Government on November 3.

The protection plan illustrates that historical and cultural relics will be protected and renovated and digital exhibition systems will be established at the villages. Museums, parking lots and other infrastructure construction will also be conducted to meet tourism needs, it said.
