The Xigu District in Lanzhou has enhanced the cultural tourism industry by combining the Silk Road, Yellow River, scenery, leisure, and health preserving cultures with the tourism industry over the past few years.

The government of Xigu District invested 90 million yuan on renovating the Xigua Park, which is now with the name of Jincheng Park, years ago. Occupying an area of 13 hectares, the park was open to the public in October of 2014 and its average tourist volume per day has reached 10,000.

The tourist number in the district has totaled 711,690 and the tourism revenue totaled 557 million yuan until now.
