The brand value of lily produced in Lanzhou City, a distinctive primary agricultural product, is assessed to reach 4.61 billion yuan, according to the 2016 Chinese Brand Value Evaluation Briefing held in Beijing days ago.
Compared with the figure of 325 million yuan in 2015, the brand value of Lanzhou produced lily surged greatly within just one year. Over the past few years, the Qilihe District in Lanzhou City has made full use of the competitiveness of lily planting by establishing national renowned brand demonstration area, holding lily cultural tourism festival and building up a themed lily expo park. It has also enhanced quality supervision, promoted new technologies on pest and disease control and broadened sales channels by setting up e-commerce distribution centers so as to promote the development of lily production.
