The innovation and entrepreneurship has blossomed in Lanzhou New Area over the past years.

The Joint Innovative and Intellectual Industrial Park and the Industrial Incubation Center of the Lanzhou New Area have introduced 246 projects, fostered eight incubators and built up one industrial base until now.

The Lanzhou New Area established the Cooperative Innovation Academy with five member units and until now a total of 35 technological cooperation projects have been signed. In addition, it also set up a financial service platform and an innovative investment fund of 400 million yuan, which helped medium and small businesses receive financing totaling 200 million yuan.

The Industrial Incubation Building, being the office building of the Organizing Committee of Lanzhou New Area formerly, was renovated into a comprehensive scientific and technological enterprise incubator in 2015. Until now, the building has attracted over 200 projects, 80 businesses and 78 services, research and development institutions.
