A Lanzhou themed tourism promotional activity was held at the Wuyi Mountain Scenic Spot in Fujian Province, on April 8. It is the first time for Lanzhou to hold such kind of activity outside of a conference room, said the spokesperson for Lanzhou Culture and Tourism Bureau.

Display racks themed with Danxia landform, gorges of the Yellow River, and other renowned scenic spots in Lanzhou were exhibited at the Wuyi Mountain. Songs and dances with distinctive Lanzhou flavor were also performed there.

Li Cui, director of the promotional office of the Lanzhou Culture and Tourism Bureau, said: "The face-to-face contact with tourists can make more people know about Lanzhou and come into our city."
