The Lanzhou Cross-border E-commerce Public Service Platform will be launched by the end of June this year, according to Lanzhou Municipal Bureau of Commercial Affairs on May 17.
During the Belt and Road China Lanzhou International Cross-border E-commerce Logistics Conference held in September last year, the Lanzhou Municipal Government signed a framework agreement with Gansu provincial departments of commerce, customs, inspection, tax and foreign exchange on jointly establishing the public service platform.
According to the agreement, the platform can provide shared information and convenient services for enterprise entered into it. Supervision departments will cooperate to realize data and information sharing with the platform. The platform will also establish a cross-border e-commerce foreign exchange management system featuring dynamic monitoring, total amount examination and sort management and introduce qualified third-party payment institutions to offer account services. Export tax refund or exemption policies can also be implemented through the platform to bring about more conveniences for enterprises.
