The city of Lanzhou, capital of Gansu Province, was listed as one of the "Top 50 New Type Smart Cities in China" during the 11th China E-government Affairs Summit Forum, which was held in Beijing on June 11.

With the theme of "Innovation-driven New Type Smart City Construction," the forum recommended representative cities, enterprises and people across China to set up examples and promote their experience.

Over the past years, the city of Lanzhou has accelerated the development of big data industry, facilitated integration and sharing of digital resources, and advanced the construction of "Smart Lanzhou" by enhancing public services and social management capacities.
