The 2017 Lanzhou Yongdeng Liancheng Tusi Cultural Festival kicks off in Yongdeng County, Lanzhou City, on July 5. With an aim to explore historical and tourism resources of the Tusi culture, namely, a system of appointing national minority hereditary headmen in the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, the event held at the Liancheng Ancient Town will last for three months and conclude on October 8.
