In the first half year, the Lanzhou International Freight Train transported a total of 1,398 carriages, 1,833 standard containers, and 33,846 tons of freight valuing 550 million yuan, according to Lanzhou Customs on July 18. The freight was mainly building materials and mechanical equipments.

To guarantee the smooth operation of the train, the Lanzhou Customs has enhanced supervision services and coordinated with declaring enterprises in efficient ways thus shortening the clearance time to a great extent.
