Three foreign-invested enterprises were newly established in the city of Lanzhou, capital of Gansu Province, in the first quarter of this year, with a total investment of US$ 462.12 million, up by 83.45 percent year on year, according to the Lanzhou Municipal Commercial Affairs Bureau on April 8.
During the same period, the city’s contractual foreign investment totaled US$ 1.4 million, up by 176.62 percent year on year. Among the three enterprises, one is invested with over US$ 100 million and two will develop environmental protection industries.
