Bars have emerged in Lanzhou, a western inland city, since 1995. There are now 300-plus bars situated across the whole city.

Dubbed “the First Bar Street in Lanzhou,” the Gannan Street incorporates more than 40 bars and coffee houses. The newly built Maijishan Street, with a length of 3,347 meters, also incorporates many multi-themed bars and leisure places.
