A Taiwanese Enterprise Industrial Park is expected to be set up at the Lanzhou New Area, according to its spokesman on November 29.

Officials from the Taiwan Affairs Office of Gansu Provincial Government made an inspection tour to the Xinguang City Complex Project, which was invested by Taiwanese entrepreneurs when the new area was established. Covering an area of nearly 40 hectares, the complex is planned to attract an investment totaling around 1 billion yuan this year.

During the tour, officials expressed that more preferential policies will be issued to attract Taiwanese enterprises to set up workshops across the new area. On the basis of current Taiwanese projects under construction, an industrial park featuring Taiwan enterprises is expected to be established in the future.
