651-bln yuan worth of projects signed at Lanzhou Trade Fair

A total of 1,299 investment projects were signed during the 20th Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair with the contract volume reaching 651.153 billion yuan, according to spokeman at the contract signing ceremony of key projects held in Lanzhou on July 6.

A total of 56 key investment projects were signed between enterprises from 14 cities in Gansu and businessmen from both China and abroad with the contract volume amounting to 117.645 billion yuan. Nine additional westward opening-up import and export investment cooperation contracts were also signed during the ceremony, with the contract volume surpassing US$1 billion accumulatively between Gansu enterprises and counterparts from Iran, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and other countries.

Among the investment contracts, the number of those with Zhejiang businessmen totaled 120 with the contract volume reaching 46.03 billion yuan. There were a total of 113 circular economy projects with the contract volume totaling 60.6 billion yuan. This shows the construction of the circular economy demonstration area has taken shape in Gansu.
