On October 9, The 3nd (2014) International Culture Industry Summit (ICIS) and China (Gansu) International Cultural Industries Fair were opened and lasted for three days.

With "Cultural cooperation and development of countries along the Silk Road" as the theme, those two conferences were held in Dunhuang and at the International Convention Centre of Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu province.

The fair was held jointly by Gansu province and countries along the Silk Road. Nearly 300 guests from over 60 countries and regions such as the United States, Australia, India, Sri Lanka, Italy attended this exhibition.

Folk culture and arts of Gansu were shown at the same showroom with foreign cultures. This fair, demonstrating culture by rich cultural products with distinct features, was really a cultural feast.
