In order to improve the aesthetic consciousness and humanistic quality of the university students, the activity of '2014 refined art goes into universities' is proceeding.

From October 20th to 23th, the excellent actors from China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater will come to Lanzhou and perform the large-scale original dance drama 'Confucius' in Lanzhou University, Lanzhou Jiaotong University and Lanzhou City University.

The drama was composed by China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater, with Kong Dexin, a descendent of Confucius and outstanding young artist, as the chief director.

The performing team is made of about 100 actors. The drama is from the perspective of Confucius' life experience including six sections, which shows Confucian idea, his personality, spirit and intelligence through solo dance, pas de deux, and group dance.

The drama will be performed in Lanzhou City University on October 20th, Lanzhou Jiaotong University on October 21th, and Lanzhou University on October 22th and 23th.
