The Lanzhou stop of Zhang Jianfeng’s art work exhibition tour

On December 29th, the world tour exhibition of Zhang Jianfeng’s works, who is the disciple of China’s famous Qi Baishi painting school, kicked off at Lanzhou Art Museum. More than a hundred local artists and celebrities attended the opening ceremony and appreciated the wonderful works.

Zhang Jianfeng, born at Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, began publishing works at the age of 13. He published his first poetry anthology when he was 19. A renowned Chinese poet Zang Kejia titled the book for him. Zhang once studied at Nanjing University, Beijing Art Academy, Chinese National Academy of Arts, China National Academy of Painting and Tsinghua University. Lou Shibai, the disciple of Qibaishi, wrote the inscription for him, which reads: Enhance Qi school and be a good successor.

At the Lanzhou stop of the world tour, nearly 56 recent works of Zhang Jianfeng were presented with painting themes covering flowers and birds, insects and fish, figural and landscape.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Li Baotang, the president of Gansu Art Association.
