A regional center featuring aid facilities for disables people will be established in the Lanzhou New Area, according to an agreement signed by the China Disabled Persons’ Federation and the Gansu Provincial Government on February 11.
Its construction area is expected to reach 11,690 square meters. The agreement said that the center will be a state-level one to offer services like aid facilities selection, education and training, scientific research and development and the commercialization of research results.
In the next two years, the service center will be under construction and expert delegations will be sent to Middle Eastern countries to install artificial limbs for disabled people.
