A virtual visitor service center incorporating microblog, Internet and digital technology will be established in the city of Lanzhou to publicize tourism resources and release information on ticket sale, detailed routes, tourism attraction introduction and so on, according to a themed conference in Lanzhou on March 30.

This year, the city’s tourism publicity will be conducted on both traditional and new media aiming to explore domestic and global market. The Lanzhou Tourism Bureau will also hold a series of tourism themed festivals to promote the tourism resources and attract more tourists.

The city will also broadcast publicity films on China Central Television and launch advertisement at airports, subways and buses in Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei, Hong Kong, Macau and Seoul. The books and brochures featuring Lanzhou tourism will also be published in the near future.
