The First National Defense Arms Exhibition to be held in northwestern China will open in Lanzhou, Gansu Province on April 30.

The exhibition, to run until May 17, will include advanced national defense weapons developed since the founding of the People's Republic of China. Equipment on display will include the J-10 fighter aircraft, amphibious tanks, armored patrol cars and fire assault vehicles.

This exhibition is one stop of the "Poly Large Weapons Exhibition" national tour which has been held in dozens of cities including Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Changchun, Shijiazhuang, Nanchang, Ha'erbin, Changsha, Hefei and Suzhou.
