The fixed assets investment in Lanzhou New Area surged with a year-on-year growth rate of 33.9 percent from January to May this year.

The new area has promoted projects construction since the beginning of 2015 and the fixed assets investment increased by 23.39 percent year on year in the first quarter of this year. An additional 86 projects were launched to back up the growth of fixed assets investment. Some 19 key projects were laid with more emphasis by the organizing committee to ensure their smooth operation.
