The promotional conference for the fifth session of “Dunhuang Travel—Silk Road International Tourism Festival” was held in the city of Lanzhou, Gansu Province, on June 18. Representatives from the United States, Singapore, Russia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region attended the conference.

The Duanhuang festival is annually held in Gansu Province. Being one of the sideline activities of the event, the China Lanzhou Yellow River Cultural Tourism Festival will be held in Lanzhou on July 28. Themed with “Going Back to the Silk Road and Meeting Yellow River Again”, the Lanzhou festival will exhibit tourism resources and immense cultural history in Lanzhou and promote the development of tourism industry.
