The 5th Lanzhou Yellow River Cultural Tourism Festival will be held at the Gansu International Conference and Exhibition Center from July 28 to 31, according to a news briefing conference held by the Lanzhou Municipal Government on July 16.

The intangible cultural heritage performances like bottle gourd carving, paper-cutting, Taiping drum and stilted walking will be presented during the event. Singers from ethnic minority groups will perform the Silk Road Merry Song. In addition, the Land and Maritime Silk Road Tourism Cultural Summit Forum will be held discussing the tourism development under the “One Belt One Road” Initiative. The Yellow River Tourism Association formed by cities of Lanzhou, Baiyin, Linxia and Gannan will be established and a strategic cooperation agreement will be signed then.
