The 2015 China (Lanzhou) International Cross-border E-commerce Logistics Conference will be held in the city of Lanzhou, Gansu Province, from September 7 to 10. Themed as “E-commerce Logistics—Bridge to the world,” the conference will have great significance in promoting the development of logistics industry in western China.

About 400 government officials, entrepreneurs, scholars and experts will take part in the event. Themes covering “Belt and Road” initiative, construction of international passage, cross-border logistics parks and bonded areas, and the cross-border operation of logistics enterprises will be discussed at the forum.

Over 100 investment attraction projects on e-commerce and logistics will be promoted during the event. Being one of the demonstration logistics cities across China, Lanzhou is expected to become a transportation hub in international passage through the development of e-commerce and cross-border logistics. A “Belt and Road” Cross-border E-commerce League will be established then and a themed Lanzhou Declaration will be released so as to ensure the sound development of e-commerce logistics industry.
