With a budget of 3 to 5 billion yuan, the Lanzhou Great Wall Dream World Tourism Park has been under construction and the Four Great Ancient Civilizations Zone and the Film and TV Town have taken shape. The Silk Road International Business and Tourism Cultural Ecology District which is invested 10 billion yuan will start construction in September. Lanzhou Sport University has started construction in August. Some schools and hospitals will come into use in September. A batch of major cultural tourism projects will start to be constructed in Lanzhou New Area.

The construction of Lanzhou Great Wall Dream World Tourism Park will be completed in three years. The Film and TV Town was only built in 40 days and it will hug its first filming crew this September.

The service function of the city will be enhanced, some programs concerning people’s livelihood will be put into use in September. 11 colleges and institutions will be set up at the vocational education garden in the new area and 151600 students can be enrolled.
