On September 18, the reporter learned from “Lanzhou tourism safety & quality development work conference ” that by the end of August, 2015, Lanzhou has received 30.927 million person-times of tourists, a 24.98% increase on year-on-year basis.

The gross income of tourism grew by 28.87% year-on-year to 24.57 billion yuan.

According to the annual target by the municipal tourism bureau, which plans to receive 36.5 million person-times of tourists and reach 29.1 billion of gross income, Lanzhou has finished 84.74% of the target on total number and 84.43% on revenue.

On the same day, the bureau distributed a tourism document named incentives about keeping tourists in Lanzhou to all travel agencies and hotels in the city.
