On October 11, the reporter learned from Lanzhou road transport management office that a clean-energy-upgrade project had been launched this month.

It advocates the use of clean energy by commercial goods vehicles with the authorized load capacity under 1 ton. The project is planned to complete over the next two years.

To be precise, 4500 related vehicles will be retrofitted this year, and those registered from 2011 to 2015 get dealt with first. Moreover, the administration should raise the number to 10500 by the end of 2016. Vehicles upgraded within prescribed time are able to receive 3500 yuan as financial subsidies. It is reported that companies or vehicle owners involved can go to any enterprise of vehicle maintenance and repair in the city after its record and registration in local transportation management station.
