28 days meet air quality standard in Sept.

On October 9, Lanzhou environmental protection bureau published a report on the city’s air quality and dust fall in three counties and one district in the jurisdiction of the municipality.

According to the report, in September the number of days meeting the air quality standard reaches as high as 28; that is one day increase over the same period of the last year.

The air quality index (AQI) in four urban districts (Chenguan district, Xigu district, Qilihe district, and An’ning district) ranges between 4.43-5.72 while the dust fall between 16.28-29.23 ton/ square kilometer•month.
