UAV developed by Lanzhou Dragon Aviation won the grand prize

The first Imagine Cup industrial design competition concluded on November 9. A total of 320 products were exhibited covering machinery and vehicle, electronic information and household appliances, furniture and office supplies, medical care and children products. The UAV developed by Lanzhou Dragon Aviation Technology Co., Ltd won the grand prize.

The UAV has played an important role in disaster relief during Minxian Earthquake and Tianshui debris flow, it aims to take aerial photos to collect the high quality video data thus provide scientific data for disaster-resistance headquarters.

Besides the grand prize, two products won the first prize among the product design works, they are the climbing reconnaissance robots invented by Lanzhou Modern High-tech Industrial Design Co., Ltd and the 1.6MN radial forging machine unit launched by Lanzhou Lanshi Energy Equipment Engineering Institute.

And three works won the first prize among the concept design products, they are the A+ bookmark customized platform set by the Design Art School from Lanzhou University of Technology, mother-son style motor home designed by the Design Art School from Lanzhou Jiaotong University and the new type bus slot machine made by Gansu Qilian Science Service Center.
