The 22nd China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair will be held in the city of Lanzhou, Gansu Province, from July 8 to 11, according to Gansu Provincial Economic Cooperation Bureau on November 30.

With the theme of “Jointly Advancing ‘Belt and Road’ Initiative and Promoting Win-win Development,” the event featuring opening-up, exploitation, cooperation and development will include Silk Road Cooperation Development High-end Forum, Cross-border E-commerce Cooperation Forum, Belt and Road International Capacity Cooperation Fair and so on.

Initiated in 1992, the event has now become an important platform for promoting China’s westward opening-up and economic and trade exchanges among countries along the Silk Road. Centering on sectors of new materials, new energy, bio-industry, IT, advanced equipment manufacturing, energy conservation and environmental protection, coal chemical industry and modern services, the 22nd fair is expected to enhance mutual trust, bilateral exchanges and win-win development among countries along the Silk Road.

The fair will establish comprehensive, specialized and Gansu pavilions then. The comprehensive one will exhibit cooperative investment achievements between different countries and provinces. The specialized pavilion will be divided into sectors of equipment manufacturing, new energy and materials, building materials, energy conservation, agriculture, wine, Halal food and Muslim goods, logistics and e-commerce and innovative industries. The Gansu pavilion will feature online and offline sales of specialties in the province.
