The Gansu Province will promote the experience of air pollution control in Lanzhou this year, according to an environment protection themed conference held in Lanzhou on January 23.

The experience of Lanzhou will be promoted and supervision and punish measures will be strengthened so as to accomplish the annual goals set by the Ministry of Environment Protection, according to the conference.

The target said that this year the particulate matter less than 10 micrometers in diameter (PM10) in Gansu should be controlled within 85mg/cubic meter, with an annual decrease rate of 10% and annual average concentration of PM 2.5 should decline by 3 percent.
