The organizing committee of the Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo have sent invitations to countries along the “Belt and Road” and international organizations, according to a preparation work briefing held in Beijing on January 26. Culture counselors of foreign embassies to China and representatives of international organizations attended the conference.

Lian Ji, director of Gansu Department of Publicity, expressed that the expo will set up an open, inclusive, balanced and win-win cultural cooperation platform. It aims to explore new ways of cultural exchanges among countries along the “Belt and Road,” he added.

All the government institutions, enterprises and personages in the cultural circle are encouraged to join in the event and make it a great success, according to the conference.
