A total of 136 scientific achievements commercialization agreements were signed during the 2016 China Lanzhou Scientific and High-tech Achievement Expo, with the contract volume totaling 1.09 billion yuan, according to a contract signing ceremony held on September 25.

The contracts covered electronic information, bio-medicine, ecological management, energy conservation, petrochemical engineering, modern agriculture and social services. The number of new emerging industry projects, such as electronic information, bio-medicine and energy conservation, accounted for 47 percent of the total figure and their investment volume reached 70 percent of the total figure.

According to the ceremony, Lanzhou’s technological output mainly flowed into Beijing, Shanghai, Sichuan, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Zhejiang, Fujian and other 6 municipalities, provinces and autonomous regions.
