An exhibition featuring rare masks from Central Africa was held on Nov. 25 at Gansu Provincial Museum.

An exhibition featuring rare masks from Central Africa was held on Nov. 25 at Gansu Provincial Museum.

A total of 119 pieces of exquisite ancient Congo masks, 17 sets of ceremony clothing and 14 items of instruments were displayed at the exhibition.

One mask that featured a Chinese face has attracted huge attention. Wang said that the mask, which was made during the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century, displays the exchange between China and Africa one century ago.
