The city of Lanzhou planned to launch over 170 distinctive industrial projects this year, according to the Lanzhou Municipal Commission of Industry and Information Technology on March 1.

Over the past years, Lanzhou has made progress in traditional competitive industries like equipment manufacturing, metallurgy and petrochemical engineering and also in emerging industries, modern agriculture and high-tech ones.

Under the guidelines of supply-side structure reform and cutting capacity, the city of Lanzhou will launch 170 more industrial projects in the sectors of electricity, innovation, chemical industry, metallurgy, equipment manufacturing, light industry, information, circular economy and modern services to foster more new economic growth drivers.
