The Lanzhou Steles Forest lies on top of the hills on the northern bank of the Yellow River. The pseudo-classical architectural complex, containing stele corridors and pavilions, exhibits calligraphy works, stone rubbings and tablet inscriptions related to life in China's ancient northwestern area.
