Lanzhou Trade Fair to kick off in July

The 23rd session of the Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair will take place in the city of Lanzhou, capital of Gansu Province, from July 6 to 9, according to a preparation work conference held on March 24.

Themed with "Jointly Building Belt and Road, Promoting Mutual Benefit and Win-win Development," this session of the fair aims to establish an important platform to promote economic and trade exchanges between countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, accelerate westward opening-up, enhance cooperation between provinces in the middle and western part of China and step up the development of emerging industries.

This session of the fair plans to invite Malaysia and Nepal to be guest countries. The government officials, representatives of business associations, renowned multinational companies, buyers and investors are expected to attend the fair, which mainly includes themed forums, investment and trade promotional activities, exhibitions and sales.

Forums featuring Silk Road cooperation and development, inspection tours attended by representatives of world renowned enterprises, guest country and project promotional activities will be held during the grand event. Located at the Gansu International Conference and Exhibition Center, the exhibition hall includes six areas with different themes, namely, Belt and Road International Cooperation, Investment Cooperation between Municipalities, Provinces and Autonomous Regions of China, New Materials and High-tech, Health Industry, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Imported Commodities.
