A total of six enterprises from Malaysia will enter into the Comprehensive Bonded Area of the Lanzhou New Area, according to a contract signing ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia, on April 16.
A total of eight cooperation projects were signed during the event. Niu Xiangdong, director of the organizing committee of the Lanzhou New Area and Abdul Majid Ahmad Khan, president of the Malaysia-China Friendship Association, attended the ceremony.
The Halal food produced in Malaysia can better explore the Chinese market and that of Muslim countries in Middle and West Asia through the entry into the bonded area, Khan said. More businesses from Malaysia are expected to come to Lanzhou for joint development of international Muslim industries, he said.
