The Chengguan District in Lanzhou City will invest 200 million yuan in building up 100 demonstration streets featuring historical culture, folk custom and urban characteristics this year, according to the district government on May 4. The construction lasts from April to November.

The streets are designed to display traditional Chinese architectural features, tourism resources, cuisine and folk custom of the Lanzhou City. Streets with various themes like home village, innovative block, a bite of Lanzhou will be presented in the near future.
