Gansu Provincial Cultural Relics Administration will organize a series of activities including an exhibition of cultural relics on June 10 at the Wuquanxia Square in Lanzhou to celebrate the Chinese Cultural and Natural Heritage Day which falls on that day.

Cultural relics related to the ancient Silk Road will feature at the exhibition.

A number of intangible cultural heritages, including Taiping Drum, original Tibetan folk song, calabash engraving and papercutting, will also be exhibited or performed on the same occasion.

Experts from Gansu Provincial Cultural Relics Appraisal Committee will be present to offer free evaluation of collections by local residents.

People will also be given a chance to learn about how the repair of cultural relic protection sites is done at the Taihao Temple of the Wuquan Mountain Building Complex, Jintian Temple, and Zhigong and Guancheng Halls of Juyuan, the provincial examination site in the Qing Dynasty.
