The main structure of the Lanzhou Pavilion during the upcoming 23rd Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair has completed construction, according to the Lanzhou Municipal Industry and Information Technology Committee on July 2.

Occupying a total area of 549 square meters, the Lanzhou Pavilion, including themed, interactive experiencing and distinctive industry exhibition sectors, is being decorated right now. According to Wang Liping, director of the project department of the Lanzhou Municipal Industry and Information Technology Committee, the themed exhibition sector will display videos of Lanzhou City and Lanzhou New Area featuring urban construction, development, county economy and other achievements over the past years; the interactive experiencing area will present VR cycling, AR page turning, 3D and other experiences of advanced technologies; and the distinctive industry sectors includes exhibition areas of agriculture, manufacturing, emerging industry, tourism products and so on.

"We will present calabash engravings, black potteries, the Taiping Drum, clay sculptures, paper cutting works and some other intangible cultural heritage products during the event and also exhibit distinctive farm produce like lily, rose, pear and so on," Wang said. "The making process of Lanzhou beef stretched noodles will also be showcased and visitors can taste them at the spot then," She added.
