The city of Lanzhou will invest 8.63 million yuan in building up a smart parking lot, according to Lanzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission on July 12. The project is planned to be completed in six months.

The project includes the software development of the smart parking management system, the procurement of the system software and the central platform hardware, and the pilot application of the parking lot. It is expected to offer a better environment for "internet plus parking" application and alleviate traffic congestion to a great extent in Lanzhou.
