The city of Lanzhou, capital of Gansu Province, received over 33.35 million tourists from both home and abroad in the first half of this year, up by 29.54 percent year on year, according to Lanzhou Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau on July 26.

Among the figure, the number of domestic tourists totaled 33.34 million and those from abroad reached 10,823, with the tourism revenue totaling 27.62 billion yuan, up by 29.9 percent year on year.

According to recently released statistics, the number of tourists visiting the Wuquan Mountain, the Waterwheel Garden, and the Xinglong Mountain in June totaled 1.06 million, 289,000 and 280,000 respectively.
