Being one of the sideline activities of the Second Dunhuang International Cultural Expo, the China-Russia Adolescent Silk Road Sunshine Innovative Cultural Activity kicked off in the city of Lanzhou, Gansu Province, on July 31.

Russian adolescents visited the Yellow River Rare Stone Museum and the Black Pottery Museum and appreciated the Hua’er folk song and paper cutting techniques at the Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Base in Qilihe District, Lanzhou City.

Some 65 teachers and students from Moscow State University and some other colleges and universities in Russia and 100 students from Gansu Province will pay visits to Lanzhou City, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Wuwei, Zhangye, Jiuquan, Jiayuguan and Dunhuang cities in Gansu, and fulfill cultural experiences, painting creation and music collection. They are expected to present the colorful landscape and abundant culture in Gansu Province to the whole world.
