The 7th Lanzhou Yellow River Cultural Tourism Festival will be held in the city of Lanzhou, Gansu Province, from August 20 to 27, according to a news briefing held on August 8.

Themed with “Promoting Yellow River Culture and Traveling in Beautiful Lanzhou,” the event aims to propel integration of culture, tourism, trade and sports industries and enhance cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road Initiative.

A Lanzhou themed tourism products promotional activity, a cultural tourism expo and a tourism development high-end dialogue will be held during the opening ceremony.

Some 1,000 government officials, tourism officials and entrepreneurs from both home and abroad will be invited to attend the event.

Sideline activities like a travel agency trip, a media trip, a beer festival and artistic performances will also be held during the event.
