The passenger throughput at Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport in July totaled 1.32 million, reaching a monthly record high in history, according to Lanzhou Airport Company on August 9. The figure on July 28 reached 47,288, hitting an all-time high per day.

Over the past two years, Lanzhou Airport has accelerated infrastructure construction and explored aviation market and it has been connected with 67 domestic cities and launched 5 new freight air lines. It has also been connected with 23 foreign cities along the Belt and Road like Frankfurt and Seoul.

It is reported that the throughput of passenger and cargo at Lanzhou Airport totaled 7.2 million and 34,000 tons from January to July this year, up by 19.82 percent and 8.78 percent respectively year on year.
