Tertiary industry in Lanzhou grows 8 pct in H1

The tertiary industry in the city of Lanzhou, Gansu Province, completed an added value of 68.57 billion yuan in the first half of this year, up by eight percent year on year, according to Lanzhou Municipal Bureau of Commercial Affairs on August 15.

During the same period, the total retail sales of consumer goods in the city reached 62.58 billion yuan, up by 8.7 percent year on year. The tertiary industry accounted for 61.9 percent of the city’s GDP. The e-commerce trade volume totaled 61.21 billion yuan, up by 30.1 percent year on year. A total of 84 trade and logistics projects like Lanzhou International Trade Center, Yintan Jinmao Square and so on completed investment totaling 4.7 billion yuan and the industrial sector introduced six projects with an actual capital inflow of 180 million yuan.
