Located on the upper reaches of the Yellow River, the Qingcheng Ancient Town is the only provincial historical and cultural town in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. First built in 1022 during the Song Dynasty (960-1279), it has now kept 50 ancient civilian residential housings, most of which were built in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). There are Gao’s Ancestral Temple, Qingcheng Academy, Qingcheng Town God Temple, Family Luo’s Courtyard, lotus pond and so on for sightseeing and cultural experience. [Photo/Gscn.com.cn]
