A total of 253 exhibitors have confirmed to attend the second Lanzhou Scientific and Technological Achievement Expo until now, which will kick off on September 17, according to Lanzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau on September 10.

A total of 16 state-level innovative demonstration areas like Zhongguancun in Beijing, Donghu in Wuhan and Zhangjiang in Shanghai, four provinces and autonomous regions in northwestern China, Peking University, University of Science and Technology of China and seven foreign enterprises will attend the expo, according to Wang Ning, director of the bureau.

The exhibition area includes two sections, an indoor and an outdoor one, according to the spokesman for the organizing committee. With a total area of 12,000 square meters, the indoor area has four sections with different themes, namely, the Lanbai Scientific and Technological Innovation and Reform Pilot Zone, demonstration of scientific and technological innovation, military and civilian integration and science and technology carnival. The outdoor one with a total area of 10,000 square meters will mainly exhibit new-energy cars, electro-cars, and special vehicles, he added.
